Drupal Modules

Achieve's own Bill O'Connor (Drupal user csevb10) will participating as a mentor in this year's Drupal Summer of Code aggregator project. Bill has done substantial work on the Drupal Simplefeed module, working closely with Ted Serbinski (m3avrck) on a major overhaul in the summer of 2006 and the Drupal 6 upgrade earlier this year.

Bill also led development efforts on the custom RSS aggregator and reader for FastCompany.com, launched in February of this year, and has become Achieve's resident expert on Drupal RSS aggregation and ingestion. Bill will be working with mentors Alex Barth (alex_b) and Ashraf Amyreh (mistknight) and returning student Aron Novak (aron novak) to create a new aggregator in Drupal core based on his previous work with Simplefeed and Aron's work on the Drupal Feed API module.
