Achieve Internet Assists San Diego During Fires

SAN DIEGO, October 25, 2007 – The fires in Southern California have been devastating for numerous people but amid the chaos, they have also brought out the best of the best.  At Achieve Internet we have individuals who take it upon themselves to seek solutions instead of being lost in the problem.

One such person is our Senior Project Manager, Mr. Michael Murdoch.  We are privileged to have his leadership and organizational skills for leading our client projects, but this week his talents were put to use for the betterment of our neighbors.

Mr. Michael Murdoch, an Eagle Scout, responded to the need almost immediately upon the fires breaking out.  He proactively applied his unique skill set, managing Internet information, newscasts, bulletin boards, making phone calls and creating an action plan to effect positive change.  He raised crucial supplies, coordinated their distribution and volunteered at the Qualcomm stadium emergency shelter

Furthermore, he was instrumental in maintaining communication with our clients, and our distributed work force.  Asked about his involvement Mr. Murdoch deflects attention from himself stating, “I am compelled to help others and solve problems; it’s what I do.”

He has positively impacted the lives of thousands of San Diegans. At Achieve Internet we take pride in providing our clients leading social networking web sites, but in times like the wild fires, we are reminded that our true contribution is in giving to our community.  Mr. Michael Murdoch exemplifies the true spirit of service that Achieve Internet was founded upon and continues to offer to leading firms.  It also serves as a reminder that challenges create an opportunity to rise above them.
